BOOK IT: Books, Community, Culture & Connection

BOOK IT: Books, Community, Culture & Connection

Calling all book lovers, authors, readers, and community members — this one is for you!

Join the Coastal Gullah Geechee & Afro-Caribbean Chamber of Commerce for BOOK IT, a FREE community event designed to bring people together through books, culture, conversation, and fun.

This is not your average book event. We’re creating a relaxed, welcoming space where authors can showcase their work, readers can discover something new, and the community can connect over great stories, good food, music, games, and shared experiences.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Local authors showcasing their books

• A community book swap

• Conversations with fellow book lovers

• UNO and games

• Line dancing

• Music from a great DJ

• Cookout-style community vibes

• Plenty of opportunities to connect, laugh, and make memories

Whether you’re an avid reader, an author looking to share your work, or someone who simply enjoys good books and good people, there’s a place for you at BOOK IT.
