Ogeechee Riverkeeper is offering a special members-only pottery workshop inspired by the natural beauty and life of the river. In this hands-on session, participants will craft their own unique ceramic pieces—think fish, boats, and other water-themed designs.All materials and instruction will be provided, so members can focus on shaping, designing, and enjoying the experience. The cost is $25 per person, to cover the cost of supplies and instructor time at the ceramics studio.Registration is required.

Safe Water Together Clean-Up

The Institute for Water and Health is seeking volunteers to help with continued efforts of a community debris clean-up of the Wilshire Canal. Gloves and trash collection bags will be provided for the volunteers. All volunteers must sign a waiver upon arrival.

Join us for a sporting clay shoot, benefitting Ogeechee RiverkeeperShow off your skills on the 50-shot course at 17 South Rod and Gun Club, a 300-acre private club with 15 scenic stations that challenge shooters of all levels. Enjoy a morning of friendly competition, followed by an award luncheon and raffle.Aim higher by becoming a Clays for the Canoochee sponsor! Depending on the level, you’ll have increased visibility for your business or organization and special event-day perks, as well as registration for 1-2 teams of 4 shooters each.Not a shooter? Ogeechee Riverkeeper 501(c)(3) works to protect, preserve, and improve the water quality of the Ogeechee River basin, which includes all of the streams flowing out to Ossabaw Sound and St. Catherine’s Sound. The Canoochee River is about 108 miles long and the Ogeechee River itself is approximately 245 miles long. The Ogeechee River system drains more than 5,500 square miles across 20 counties in Georgia.
